The development of new information technologies, the creation and necessity to integrate diversified systems, changing methods of designing and development of software necessitate the possession of the relevant qualifications, required for analysis, finding optimal solutions, making risk-related decisions and communicative presentation of proposed solutions.

In the IT sector there is a demand for experts with the above-mentioned qualifications who are able to take a broader view, recognising the whole spectrum of problems, and who are, at the same time, capable of conducting in-depth research of a scientific nature.

The proposed part-time PhD studies allow its participants to reconcile professional activity with the possibility to develop new abilities of a significant value. The course’s orientation towards the IT sector’s needs ensures that many issues the would-be PhD students face will be included the course’s curriculum.
